We are excited to announce the "Buck-a-Block" program for Summer 2019. Participants will receive a fabric kit for a finished 9" block each week for 12 weeks. Each weekly kit will have a pattern for that week's design. Using "Thangles", the pattern will show you how to construct 12 different blocks with half-square triangles.
What are "Thangles"? They are pre-printed paper guides. The paper is attached to your strip of fabric and shows you where to stitch and cut. The result is a simply pieced block." Thangles" make block construction from strips much easier.
The "Buck-a-Block"quilt blocks are surrounded by sashing strips (rails), posts (stars), and borders. The finished size is approximately 63" wide and 78" long.
We will offer the finishing kits (rails, stars, borders) at an additional cost. Selected fabrics will be limited to fabric on hand on a first come, first serve basis.
Program kicks off June 1st in our Ogden store from 10 am to noon. The first week's kit will be available to pick up then. The second kit will be available on Mondays starting June 10th. Kits will be available to pick up on their assigned Monday. Kits will not be available before that time.
Last day for signing up is July 6.
