Pants for Real People - Fitting Class

Pants are fairly easy to sew, but fitting them can be a challenge. Pants that
fit well will make you look a size (or two) smaller. After tissue fitting to find your variations from
the pattern, we will cut and sew using the Palmer/Pletsch "Fit as You Sew" method to get a pair
of pants that flatter your figure. The first session will be spent tissue fitting the pattern, you will
cut out your pants at home and then in the second session we'll fit the pants in fabric and sew
them. You will learn to put in a fast, easy zipper and how to attach a waistband that doesn't
roll. Tamra is a Palmer/Pletsch Certified Pant Fit Instructor as well as a Trained Sewing
Educator.
