Ogden Free Motion Quilting on Your Domestic Machine

A Year of Stitching Dangerously…

(Free-motion Machine Quilting on your domestic sewing machine.)

By Ruth Davis

Supplies needed:

-Sewing machine in good working order.  You should be able to lower
your feed dogs or have a covering for them.

-Darning foot, Free-motion quilt foot, ruler foot, etc.  (You only
need one…)

-4-6 fat quarter sized quilt sandwiches preferably made with muslin
so you can see your stitching.

-Easy to see thread for top, with matching thread in your bobbin.

-BSK (Basic Sewing Kit) Scissors, seam ripper, etc.

Optional:

-Supreme Slider (or other Teflon-type non-stick surface.  Wimmers
has some available for purchase.)

-Extension table for your machine if you have one.

the quilt police won’t see these!
