Fit for Real People with Tamra

In the first two sessions of this in-depth class on tissue fitting bodices and
skirts, we'll learn basic fitting skills as you make your own body map (sloper). You will learn to
choose the right size pattern, where you differ from a standard pattern, and the proper order for
making fit alterations as we tissue fit the basic pattern provided. After fitting the basic pattern,
we'll apply these principles to two or three commercial patterns that you bring. We'll cut at least
one out of fabric and practice fabric fitting as well. The third session will cover fitting knits and
the fourth will cover princess seams. The teacher is a Palmer/Pletsch Certified Fit Instructor.
