Knit Fit

Learn the differences between fitting for knit fabrics as opposed to woven
fabrics. We'll tissue fit the provided pattern and make whatever adjustments you need, then cut
out the adjusted pattern and fit the shirt in the fabric you bring. You will learn how to
compensate for different types of knits to make each one flattering and comfortable. We will
discuss the techniques for sewing a quality t-shirt and how to vary the hem, neckline, and
sleeves for different looks. Sergers are great for sewing knits, but not necessary. Instructor is a
Certified Palmer/Pletsch Fit Instructor.
